Hello, I'm a pianist and piano teacher. This channel is focused on providing 100% free musical education for people who have a passion to learn music, but might not be able to afford it or are curious about music. My approach to teaching is what makes me different. Instead of showing you songs which makes you dependent on me, my goal is to provide you with all the information you need so that you will be able to play music for yourself one day.
My philosophy for teaching here is:
"Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day.
Teach a man HOW to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. "
I have two main video series.
"How to Play Piano"
"Learn Free Music Theory"
I also have performances of myself playing the piano uploaded to this channel.

In the beginning once I looked at the scales and triads didn't know how to think so went on a forum explaining scales in details and how to write them with and without key signatures. After this video got the triads and scales exercise and eventually got 92/100. Thanks a lot, Andrew for making this free. And this exam is really good making us to stress on our weaknesses. Much love and respect 😍🥰
14 years later and im starting my journey, thanks man ❤❤
Im starting today so i wonder if u can tell me hows it goin man is it any good for you?
I’m a little confused about never doing w -> S. Isn’t the whole rock n roll “back beat” rhythm based on that pattern?
Sounds like the break in Radiohead’s “Airbag” at 20:10. (Love your videos - thanks)

This guy is a legend
hello. I have a quick question does this course allow me to compose my own music make my own music and is it closer to the trinity or ABRSM?
2024 big respect for this guy ❤
Just wanted to say thank you, I’ve been practicing for about three years but your videos were just a tremendous help. I use the methods in your videos every time I sit down, you would be the only thing close to a formal understanding I’ve ever received regarding music that I’ve ever been able to retain. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to share your knowledge, I hope you and yours are doing well! Much love in 2024 🙏🏽
love this 🤍
Certificate or Diploma
All video from #1 to #40 please
I am revisiting this playlist after 2 years... Starting again❤
I always comeback to your videos for refresh you're the best ever
I can't be the only one here in 2024😢
So i first saw your videos in 2012 and started learning but after 1 month i left where i was and didn't have access to a piano again. I'm back many after years and searched to find your videos specifically. Wasn't easy lol
Rhythms, bar 8, beat 2: the beat ends with a 16th, can't we put a dotted 8th rest in front of it (like bar 5 beat 1) ? 28:30
14 years it had been, and you have got ton of good positive karmas and I'm so happy about it. Thank you fir this course, id prefer to give something or anything, but I will pray u healthy wealthy life
If my keyboard has 61 keys does the same structure apply
That circle of fifths is a miracle
Cool The audio s good in the lesson
how can You teach piano if nobody can hear what your saying? Im dangerously loud with headphones. I can keep changing the volume in between you talking and then boom your playing piano before i can turn it down. It hurts and causes hearing damage
What about the whole note in 6/8 time?
If you want to learn how to play piano just stay on the piano for all course and practice. You will be amazed at what you will accomplish! Here's the link to the video: ua-cam.com/video/Onvhq9Soz6E/v-deo.html To anyone who wants to learn to play piano as well: - Focus fully on your practice sessions, avoiding distractions. Be present and attentive to the sound, feeling, and technique of your playing. Mindful practice leads to more effective learning and progress. - Before diving into your practice session, warm up your fingers and hands with simple exercises like scales, arpeggios, and finger stretches. This helps prevent injury and improves dexterity. - Use a recording device or a smartphone to record yourself playing. Listening back to your recordings can provide valuable feedback on areas for improvement, such as timing, dynamics, and expression. See you guys when we're playing piano on the moon.
Thanks
I'm 26, and I really love music. I know how to play guitar chords but I want to understand more. This is gonna be a heck of a journey for me. I hope I can finish these lessons and be back here and see how it changed my perspective on music.
24:30 "Like a Waltz"...I just cracked up laughing. Great job teaching, you're a natural. Thanks
